A number of prospective Haj pilgrims who had arrived in Mecca from Medina and Jeddah was forced to delay the implementation of Umrah qudum (arrival). This delay following the fall of the crane incident in the Haram, Mecca.
"We've been informed to the congregation in order to delay the departure to the Haram as there is an emergency situation in the Haram," said Officer PPIH Sector IV of Housing and Catering, Rafiudin Ahmad Farooq, Friday (09/11/2015) local time.
He said pilgrims from 19 embarkation kloter Jakarta Pondok Gede who arrived in Makkah at 15.30 plan will umrah qudum at 19.00. However, after being informed of the accident, it was delaying departure.
Additionally Bus Shalawat that used to take pilgrims from boarding to the Haram also could not get closer. "The plan at 23.00 local time (03.00 GMT) we will umrah qudum," said Ahmad.
